Stephanie, a native of Emmaus, PA is a writer and director for theater and film, currently based in Taos, NM. She has written, directed, and produced over 30 short films, including, And If I Stay, a dark romantic drama shot in Montreal, Canada; the multi-award-winning films,
If I Had A Piano (I'd Play You The Blues), an homage to sensuality, described as "an explorative romance in five movements" and "Para Todo Mal...Para Todo Bien: The Mezcal Trilogy," a bilingual (Spanish and English) tryptych of short films exploring themes of mishaps that occur due to language barriers and cultural misunderstandings.
Stephanie is the creator, director and host of The "33 and Me" Film Project, where she traveled to over 33 different countries around the world to meet, interact with, and document 33-year-old filmmakers. "Cinema Nomad," the arts and culture focused travel series born out of "33 and Me" will premiere on U.S. public television begining in May 2025.
As a freelance filmmaker and playwright, past clients include Yale University, Urban Stages, Miller Symphony Hall, The Hillhouse Opera Company, and Elie Wiesel. As a playwright, Stephanie's plays and musical comedies have been performed globally.
Stephanie is a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied in Singapore under the tutelage of Richard Wesley, Oliver Stone, Todd Solondz, and Sabrina Dhawan, and received an MFA in writing for screen, television and stage. She has a B.A. from The George Washington University in Dramatic Literature, Music and Creative Writing.
